Muitas pessoas compram o lubrificante no supermercado, sem sequer olhar para o r\u00f3tulo. Mas quando se trata de lubrificante \u00edntimo, muitas pessoas compram o primeiro produto que encontram, muitas vezes o mais barato. Mas por que raz\u00e3o um lubrificante \u00edntimo \u00e9 considerado um dispositivo m\u00e9dico?<\/h2>\n

Poucas pessoas sabem, mas est\u00e1 para breve um desenvolvimento muito relevante no dom\u00ednio dos lubrificantes \u00edntimos. Devido ao novo Regulamento Europeu de Dispositivos M\u00e9dicos (\u201cMedical Device Regulation\u201d, MDR), que est\u00e1 em vigor desde maio de 2021, no futuro os lubrificantes \u00edntimos ser\u00e3o classificados como desfibriladores e sujeitos a controlos muito mais rigorosos. Isto significa que est\u00e3o sujeitos a uma regulamenta\u00e7\u00e3o muito mais rigorosa do que anteriormente e t\u00eam de ter uma autoriza\u00e7\u00e3o oficial. O objetivo deste novo regulamento \u00e9 criar um quadro jur\u00eddico normalizado para os dispositivos m\u00e9dicos a n\u00edvel europeu, melhorar a qualidade dos produtos e, logo, aumentar a seguran\u00e7a dos utilizadores. Muitas marcas n\u00e3o conseguir\u00e3o obter esta rigorosa mas necess\u00e1ria autoriza\u00e7\u00e3o e os seus produtos deixar\u00e3o de poder ser designados por gel lubrificante, lubrificante ou creme lubrificante \u00edntimo. Estes tamb\u00e9m n\u00e3o oferecem a seguran\u00e7a necess\u00e1ria e devem deixar de ser inseridos no corpo. Por isso, tem cuidado e est\u00e1 atento quando comprares lubrificantes!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Estas medidas foram adotadas a n\u00edvel europeu depois de, em 2012, a empresa francesa Poly Implant Proth\u00e8se (PIP) ter enchido implantes mam\u00e1rios com silicone industrial. Milhares de mulheres receberam implantes de qualidade inferior, cujos ingredientes eram prejudiciais para a sua sa\u00fade. Ao contr\u00e1rio do que se verificava com os produtos farmac\u00eauticos, n\u00e3o existia, na altura, um procedimento de autoriza\u00e7\u00e3o suficientemente regulamentado para produtos como os implantes mam\u00e1rios ou os lubrificantes \u00edntimos. Para estes dispositivos m\u00e9dicos de classe I, apenas era necess\u00e1ria a marca\u00e7\u00e3o CE e uma esp\u00e9cie de documenta\u00e7\u00e3o de fabrico em segundo plano, que, nessa altura, n\u00e3o tinha de ser verificada atrav\u00e9s do “procedimento de avalia\u00e7\u00e3o da conformidade”. Os cerca de 80 centros de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o em toda a Europa realizavam normalmente as investiga\u00e7\u00f5es na sequ\u00eancia de um requerimento e de uma notifica\u00e7\u00e3o pr\u00e9via. A PIP realizou ela pr\u00f3pria a “avalia\u00e7\u00e3o cl\u00ednica” exigida e, provavelmente, enganou os auditores, o que levou a que fossem colocados no mercado produtos de qualidade inferior.<\/p>\n

Classifica\u00e7\u00e3o dos dispositivos m\u00e9dicos<\/h2>\n

Esta classifica\u00e7\u00e3o baseia-se, entre outras coisas, no local de aplica\u00e7\u00e3o, na dura\u00e7\u00e3o da utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o, na posi\u00e7\u00e3o anat\u00f3mica e no risco de aplica\u00e7\u00e3o resultante. Os produtos da categoria IIa t\u00eam um risco m\u00e9dio e os produtos da categoria IIb t\u00eam um risco acrescido. Para poderem dotar ambas as classes da marca\u00e7\u00e3o CE e coloc\u00e1-las no mercado, os fabricantes necessitam de um certificado UE de conformidade, tamb\u00e9m conhecido como “certificado CE”. Como os lubrificantes \u00edntimos s\u00e3o inseridos no corpo humanos, devem obedecer aos mais elevados padr\u00f5es de seguran\u00e7a.<\/p>\n

Por esta raz\u00e3o, a partir de 2024, os fabricantes de lubrificantes \u00edntimos tamb\u00e9m t\u00eam de obedecer ao MDR (Regulamento Europeu dos Dispositivos M\u00e9dicos) para poderem continuar a produzir e a vender produtos sob a designa\u00e7\u00e3o de gel ou creme lubrificante \u00edntimo. Apenas estes produtos aprovados obedecem aos elevados padr\u00f5es de um dispositivo m\u00e9dico de classe IIb e apenas estes s\u00e3o seguros para o teu corpo.<\/strong><\/p>\n

De acordo com o Minist\u00e9rio Federal da Defesa do Consumidor e da Seguran\u00e7a Alimentar, estes produtos s\u00e3o utilizados para limpar ou perfumar o corpo, alterar a sua apar\u00eancia, proteg\u00ea-lo ou alterar o odor corporal.<\/p>\n
